In December 2014, we got a driving while intoxicated w/child under 15 years of age dismissed for K.L. in the 277th District Court of Williamson County.
In December 2014, we got an assault family violence charge against W.L. dismissed in the Travis County Court at Law # 4.
In December 2014, we got a charge of hinder apprehension or prosecution of a known felon against M.F. dismissed in the Bastrop County District Court.
In December 2014, we got a charge of possession of a dangerous drug against M.F. dismissed in the Bastrop County Court at Law.
In December 2014, we got a charge of assault causes bodily injury family violence dismissed against M.F. dismissed in the Bastrop County Court at Law.
In December 2014, we got a charge of bail jumping and fail to appear against M.F. dismissed in the Bastrop County District Court.
In December 2014, we got a charge of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces against K.G. dismissed in the Bastrop County Court of Law. He had to take two clean drug tests 30 days apart in order to earn the dismissal.
In December 2014, we got a charge of tamper/fabricate physical evidence with the intent to impair against J.O. dismissed in the 277th District Court of Williamson County. J.O. ate marijuana as he was being pulled over by the police. There is the argument that at the time he ate the marijuana he did not know that the investigation was an investigation was in progress and this is the tact we would have took at trial if the State forced our hand and attempted to proceed. The officer, however, recovered a usable amount of marijuana that was less than 2 ounces so in exchange for his plea on the misdemeanor, the State dismissed the felony.
In December 2014, we got a charge of injury to a child, elderly, disabled with the intent to cause bodily injury dismissed against B.G.in the 277th District Court of Williamson County.
In December 2014, we got a charge of assault family/household member with a previous conviction against B.G. dismissed in the 277th District Court of Williamson County.
In December 2014, we got a charge of driving while intoxicated against J.C. reduced to an obstruction of a highway passageway. There was no blood result and J.C. refused to do all field sobriety tests. On video he had difficulty communicating with the police officer. The officer had to repeat questions several times and J.C. appeared very confused and disoriented. J.C. was also unsteady as he walked. J.C. did not want to go to trial. J.C. was sentenced to 1 year deferred adjudication, $200 fine, court costs, 60-hours community service, counseling as recommended, and keep driver’s license with insurance.
In January 2015, we got a charge of theft dismissed against C.N. dismissed in the Bastrop County Court at Law.
In January 2015, we got a charge of theft more than $50 but less than $500 against S.M. dismissed in the Hays County Court at Law in exchange for the pretrial intervention program.
In February 2015, we got a charge of driving while intoxicated against W.R. reduced to an obstruction of a highway passageway. W.R. had two prior arrests for DWI that resulted in reductions to obstruction of a highway passageway. In this case, W.R. did not do any field sobriety tests. W.R. appeared confused on video and had difficulty walking. The State refused to reduce the case so we set the case for trial. On the day of the trial, the State finally reduced the case to an obstruction of a highway passageway. W.R. was sentenced to 180-days county jail probated for 18 months with a $300 fine, $322 in court costs, and 48 hours in community service.
In February 2015, we got a case against D.S. reduced from a third degree felony tamper/fabricate physical evidence with the intent to impair to a class A misdemeanor in the 368th District Court of Williamson County.
In February 2015, we got a charge of interfere with emergency call against B.G. dismissed in the Williamson County Court at Law # 2.
In February 2015, we got a case of possession of a controlled substance less than one-gram state jail felony against C.S. reduced to a class A misdemeanor attempted possession of a controlled substance less than one-gram in the 147th District Court of Travis County.
In February 2015, we got a theft greater than $50 but less than $500 charge dismissed against B.L in the Travis County Court at Law # 8. B.L. went into the pretrial diversion program to earn the dismissal. She subsequently successfully completed the program.
In February 2015, we got a charge of driving while license invalid/suspended against C.L. in Travis County Court at Law #8. C.L. obtained his license and the charge against him was dismissed.
